The Goal: Inquiry Schools is the fiduciary agent and primary grantee of a $1.6 million grant from the Philadelphia School Partnership. 

The Work: From 2015-2020, Inquiry Schools will administer the grant and work side by side with the team at SLAMS to develop an inquiry driven, project based, technology enabled middle school program. Opened in September of the 2016-2017 school year with 90 5th grade students. Expanding as a ‘grow a grade’ program, SLA-MS will grow to 180 students in SY1718, 270 students in SY1819, and will become fully realized in SY1920 with an enrollment of 360 students. Diana Laufenberg and Zac Chase are the primary consultants working with the faculty to develop an engaging, relevant and meaningful curriculum.

The ribbon cutting was a resounding success with a host of Philadelphia community leaders in attendance.
